Here's my finished painting. I added the newspaper as a last-minute inspiration. I think it adds a focal point - maybe not a visual one, but a focus of the attention of the three men - and gives the painting a story.
Nice work! That newspaper makes the picture modern. I could imagine there other objects too: a waterpipe, a cup of tea, a dish, etc. that would give a classical taste to the painting, but the newspaper is an excellent choice.
I like your previous pictures as well. I hope that I will be so lucky someday that I can visit your exhibition.
