The hills here are still the color of mountain lions - tawny brown from lack of rain. In a couple weeks, when the wet weather starts, they'll begin to green up, as in the photo I used for this painting.

Sunday, Point Lobos
Point Lobos is the local (Two miles from my house) state park, and setting of several scenes from Robert Louis Stevenson books. This is how it looked Sunday afternoon.

Labor Day Weekend
I'm using my long weekend to spend some time with my family and get some painting done.
I'm opening a new show on the 21st of October, and I need to finish a lot of paintings in order to be ready in time, so expect to see an increase in the frequency of my posting.
