Here's a study I just finished for a commission I have. My customer wanted a painting of a barn, so I took some photographs of the barn at Andrew Molera State Park, which is between here and Big Sur. I should have a larger version of this painting done in a couple of days.

Here's a look at my finished self portrait, beside the photo I used for a subject. Incidentally, I took the photo in our (very) red bathroom, which has great southwestern light.

Self Portrait

I've been asked a couple of times now to paint more people, and recently I've felt more and more interested in giving it a try. This self portrait is certainly not finished, but I thought I'd show you how it looks after one evening's work.
